Human Rights has just passed a resolution originally submitted by Ethiopia regarding the rights of Muslim refugees. In this hotly contested issue, the committee emphasized the importance of integrating refugees into the life and culture of the country in which they reside, as well as education so they can assimilate into society. Also, the resolution asserts that refugees will be considered honorary citizens in the country of residence, and not be subjected to prejudice against their race, religion or condition.
