The Ecology and Environment Committee has just passed a resolution originally submitted by the Netherlands, which focuses on minimizing the risks of priority chemical usage. The resolution solves the

problem by imploring member nations to equally contribute to lessening the amount of ozone-depleting chemicals released into the atmosphere, as well as advocating for harsher punishments for individuals or corporations that improperly dispose of waste.
